Randy Crowder, 57, of Camden, died Tuesday, July 22. Born February 6, 1951, he was the son of Sarah and Bill Crowder. He is survived by his wife Martha Gaughan Crowder, sons Patrick Crowder, Will Crowder and wife Jackie, Tom Crowder and wife Kristin, grandchildren: William, Andrew, and Camille. Survivors include his sister, Mary Margaret Latham and husband John.
Randy was a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and earned his forestry degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Randy was an Arkansas State Registered Forester, State Registered Appraiser, and was a member of the Association of Consulting Foresters. Randy was the first consulting forester elected President of the Arkansas Forestry Association. Randy served on the Arkansas Forestry Commission. He was the Owner of Crowder Forestry and managed timber for Bragg Land Co. as well as other landowners in Arkansas and Louisiana. He served on the First Bank Board of Directors, and the Ouachita Industries Board.
He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.
Graveside service will be at Memorial Park Cemetery at 9: 00 a.m. on Thursday, July 24, with Father Pius officiating. Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. To sign the online guest register visit
