We feel the safety, tactics and incident command segments of the 8-hour course are important in the suppression of wildland fires in Arkansas. To receive credit for the 8 hour course, all 8 hours must be attended due to the format of the class. Those who have taken the 4 hour or 8 hour Wildland Fire Suppression Course from the AFC in previous years do not have to take it again to meet Act 833 requirements.

For more information, call Robert Summerville at 501-679-3183, Greg Massey at 501-679-4374 or Travis Haile (501) 679-4376.
